Ursula FREER

After spending my childhood in Poland and early adolescence in Europe I came to the U.S. as a refugee. I have lived in Chicago, Woodstock NY and Southern California. Throughout my life I have always been involved to some degree in theater, dance and the visual arts.

After having painted in traditional media for many years I started experimenting with the digital medium four years ago. It has totally changed my way of creating art. The medium is amazing; there seems to be no end to the possibilities for creative expression and great freedom for communicating ideas. My interests lie in the connection between man and nature, our planet and the universe. Working with images is my way to experience, gain insights and communicate these concepts about how things work on many levels.
