I am a self taught marble scultptor specializing in realistic figurative work, mostly depicting religious themes. I began an interest in woodcarving at the age of 15, and presently work almost exclusively in marble. I have a passion for carving in stone because of its timeless, historical quality. Colorado Yule marble, the medium I prefer, is an excellent stone for sculpting. It is brilliant white and is a very suitable medium to depict the kind of themes I strive for.
