Laquered writing desk, originally with marble top and now with glass. It is made from lacquered softwood and decorated with gold leaf. Curved front and sides with central drawer decorated with borders. The arched legs stretch down into curls, while the carcase is decorated with large acanthus foliate which come together in a border sculpted with rocaille motifs and a central shell.
