Chest of drawers made from walnut. It is threaded to give a string effect, and has a star inlaid with maple and mahogany on the top and sides. The wood panels are made from walnut root which is darker to give a pleasing, contrasting and chromatic effect. The inverted pyramid legs are fluted and narrow at the base. Louis XVI style.
