HERALDRY HISTORY
The shield shows a lowered strip, symbol of old, noble Guelf families which represents the Cavalry or high ranks within the historic military. On the left the defensive suit of impenetrable,chain armour, indicated the " warrior tradition" and " loyalty to the Prince".
On the right side, split in two, there is a red one to show the colour of the regiment during battle. There is a marquis crown on top of the shield, which consists of a gold circle studded with gold florins mounted on gems and pearls.
