To buy an image - Rights-managed (RM):
The lightbox is an area where you can save images to review or purchase later on.
Pricing of rights-managed image it is calculated per image use, based on a number of factors including: usage (such as advertising or editorial), output media (such as brochure, magazine, online), region of use, image size, placement and circulation.
Once a fee has been determined for your usage, you may use the image only as specified. You are typically granted one-time usage rights (although in some cases the photographer offers unlimited usages)
By using rights managed, you are ensured that there is limited usage of the image; you can even request exclusive rights to an image to eliminate its simultaneous usage by other agencies and competitors.
In some cases (very rarely) the photographer can decide to sell his/her images as Royalty-free (RF)
"Royalty-free" (RF) means that you pay only once for an image.
The pricing for RF images is not based on the use of the image. For a flat fee, the image may be used an unlimited number of times and adapted as the user chooses.
Royalty-Free image pricing is based only on size (not usage) and there are never additional fees for using the image.
It is the photographer’s sole responsibility for any missing release associated with the image. Arteutile Ltd shall not be responsible for any use of names, logos, copyrighted designs, works of art , logos , uniforms or trademarks associated with the image.
We make no representations or warranties that the functional aspects of our site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that our site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.
