Description
The residence lies in the heart of Tuscany, between Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Castelalfi and Volterra. Surrounded by cypress trees, green meadows, golden corn fields, olive groves and wine yards you will find this beautiful place to spend a relaxing and comfortable vacation in the midst of the nature. I Calanchi is situated next to the village of Sughera di Montaione – it is an ideal spot to make excursions to the art towns of Tuscany (approx. 50 km Florence, Siena, Lucca and Pisa), to the sea or to the mountains. The residence offers you all comfort for a nice holiday, it was constructed in the Tuscan country house style with the typical stones of the Tuscan farm houses. The swimming pool (8 x 14m, deep: 1,65m, set in earth), the garden and the barbecue is at the disposal of all the guests. Nearby there is a golf court and a stable. The area is convenient for sporting bikers, mountain bikes may be rented. Wine and local specialities may be tasted in the village of Sughera di Montaione. Once a week there is a workmen market and a puppet-play. Moreover, the owners organize various events such as walking tours, cooking courses, language lessons, painting of pottery, sailing tours, archery etc. We have reserved in this residence two apartments: Ortensia and Begonia.

Ground floor: living-dining room with 1 double bed settee, TV with satellite, kitchenette with stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, wc, bidet. To enjoy outdoor life to the full and privacy there is an outdoor area with views onto the swimming pool at the guests’ disposal. The covered area is equipped a table and chairs. Parking within the grounds.
