This country house has been restored with great care and is located in a quiet position in the countryside east of Lucca. The landscape is characterised by sweet hills, vineyards, olive groves and cypresses: it is perfect for all those who love taking strolls, going for bike rides or simply spending some time in the open air. The area has a lot to offer: in the surroundings you can visit the historical villas among which the Villa Reale, the one where Napoleon’s sister Elisa Bonaparte used to live. The Pinocchio park in Collodi is only a 15 minutes’ drive from your holiday home: your children will have fun discovering the various characters of the popular fairy tale. The major art towns in Tuscany such as Lucca, Pisa and Florence and the beautiful beaches of the Versilia coast are easy to reach by car. For sport lovers the Golf Club in Montecatini is only a 20 minutes’ drive away, while you can find many riding tracks in the areas nearby. Composition
This lovely house has a big completely fenced garden and a swimming pool (set in earth, 10 x 5 m, 140 cm deep, used only by guests) equipped with sun umbrella and deck chairs. The holiday home boasts a beautiful balcony equipped with table, chairs and sun shade to dine al fresco. In the garden there is a wooden gazebo equipped with table and chairs where guests can relax playing cards or reading. The garden also has a barbecue, wood burning oven, washing machine. Ground floor: entrance into a spacious kitchen/living room with fridge/freezer, stove (4 burning fires)/oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, dining table, SAT-TV, fireplace (not working), 1 bathroom with WC/bidet, washbasin. Staircase to 1st floor: 1 double bedroom with 1 baby-bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers (room that remains locked), 1 double bedroom with wardrobe and chest of drawers, French-window with views onto the swimming pool, 1 twin bedroom with wardrobe, window with views onto the swimming pool, 1 bathroom with WC/bidet, Jacuzzi bathtub, shower. Country style furnishings, terracotta floors, beamed ceilings, some pieces of furniture are antique. The owners of the house live in the basement. Parking close to the holiday home. The owners will be happy to organise dinners with pizza, typical products and music for their guests. It is also possible to purchase olives, oil and wine which are produced in the property.
