It is possible to take walks along the street outside this building, that leads to the cliffside by the sea and to the small bay surrounded by pine groves. There is free parking 300m away from the building and the long sandy beach (Lungomare)is only 20m away. It is also very close to shops and restaurants, and the famous Piazza Duomo.
Cefalu beach is hard to beat. Holiday visitors can soak up the sun on clean, golden sand, and swim in clear, turquoise water. Other nearby beach resorts include Castel di Tusa and Campofelice di Roccella, and the hill towns of Petralia Soprana and Polizzi Generosa that offer Arab and Norman architecture, are also in the vicinity. Slightly further afield is the historic town of Monreale with its Norman cathedral, the Zingaro National Park and the provincial capital Enna, found right in the centre of Sicily.
