The city is monumental looking, because of the past colonizations of Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Arabs and Normans, but it has also, at the same time, a lively heart given by the nearby Marina Di Modica, considered surfers’ paradise. Dduring the day, golden beaches offer rest and relaxation and at sunset the bars, discos, and restaurants come to life. In the surroundings there are also the locations where the famous Commissario Montalbano (a character created by the Sicilian writer Andrea Camilleri) is filmed, like Pozzallo, a town renowned for its sandy beaches, and Sampieri, a characteristic, old fishing village. Situated just a stone's throw away from the main street Corso Umberto I, the Garibaldi Theatre and the imposing St. Peter's Church, this apartment invites its guests to truly experience the magic of this unique place, strolling through its typical little streets flanked by noble buildings. The traditional exteriors of the apartment hide a contemporary interior, featuring white open spaces and cheerful red accessories. In its cosy rooms which have been carefully designed with the very latest in interior trends, the living/dining room merges neatly with the fully fitted kitchen and the double bedroom in the loft.
