Baglio degli Angeli is an exclusive property with swimming pool situated in the vicinity of Balestrate, on the northern coast of Sicily, 30 kilometres west of Palermo. The property is also perfectly located for exploring the most striking parts of western Sicily, such as the beautiful sandy beaches of Trappeto and Balestrate, the medieval village of Erice, the impressive temple of Segesta, the charming seafaring towns of Castellammare del Golfo, Scopello, San Vito Lo Capo and the Zingaro natural reserve. The Gulf of Castellammare along the northern coast of Sicily, exactly 40 Km on the western side of Palermo.The existing seaside village has developed around the ancient tunny-fishing grounds and along the sea-front promenade with its small shops, bars and typical restaurants where you can enjoy Sicilian gastronomic specialities and excellent fish dishes. The shore is characterized by beautiful and huge sandy beaches with shoals lapped by crystalline waters while the hinterland by some wine-growing and grape-producing farms with their typical bagli (internal courts). Worth visiting are: the Chiesa Madre (Mother Church) and the Castle of Calatubo, interesting Byzantine stronghold placed on the top of a rock overlooking the village.
Composition
This amazing holiday structure is a complex built according to a local, traditional architecture called “baglio”, consisting of several old, rural dwellings set around an internal courtyard. The country houses of the estate have been recently restored and converted into seven elegant, comfortable apartments. They have been decorated in a nice, country chic style that combines excellently the warm atmosphere with all mod cons. Surrounded by a peaceful landscape of vineyards and cultivated lands, Baglio degli Angeli is the perfect spot for a couple, a large family or a group of friends who want to experience a relaxing holiday. All guests in the apartments can use a “club house” with two wide lounges - which are the ideal setting to read a book or to enjoy a chat - and the park of the estate with the beautiful swimming pool, used except on the occasion that a function or a ceremony is held from 18.00h onwards. The accommodation is 70 sq metres and is consists of: ground floor: living room –kitchen with single sofa bed, 1 bathroom with shower, patio; 1st floor- 1 double bedroom with balcony, 1 twin bedroom, 1 bathroom with whirlpool bathtub.
