The surroundings of Lucca offer their tourists a big spectrum of possibilities how to spend your holidays: beautiful strolls on the close hills, visits to the art towns of Tuscany, tasting of typical local products such as olive oil and wine, cultural and musical events, festivals in villages and craftsmen markets which take place during the whole year. This stone rustico is situated on the hills overlooking Lucca, on a quiet spot with wonderful views onto the plain. A part of the house was converted into a cosy and characteristic holiday home.
Composition
There is a splendid panoramic terrace in front of the house covered by a flower pergola. The terrace is equipped with a table, chairs, barbeque and deckchairs for your outdoor life. A swimming pool, set in earth (8.70 x 2.80m, deep: 1.90 m) is at the private and exclusive disposal of the guests.
Ground floor: kitchen with stove, oven, fridge/freezer dining table, 1 bathroom with shower, wc, bidet, 3 steps to the living room with 1 double bed settee, exit onto the back of the house, wooden spiral staircase to the 1st floor: 1 double bedroom and exit on the back of the house (house lies on a slope β olive trees terraces). The house was carefully restored, terracotta tiled floors, beamed ceilings, visible stones on the walls, a few windows with sight tiles (local construction style), antique furnishings. Apart from the terrace there is a part of garden on the back of the house at the guestsβ disposal with a covered veranda in the vicinity of the swimming pool. Parking within the grounds. The owner lives next-door but is obviously respecting the guests privacy to the full.
