Along the road between Volterra and San Gimignano you will find the estate. As you proceed into the itinerary of “Dante” and on your search of the “villas and churches” you will reach the villas of Ulignano and the “Scopicci and the land church “Pieve della Nara” there you will find a short trail leading you to your destination. The last stretch of the journey exacerbates in the visitor the feeling of the “timelessness” of the past embraced by the silence of nature. The estate was renovated and refurbished with great love and skill by the owner himself and offers two spacious apartments and a few meters away lays an independent cottage. The estate extends on 13 hectares with a spacious wonderful garden with its century-old trees and olive trees. There is a swimming pool (half set in earth – on one side entrance flush with the ground, 12 m x 5.80 m, deep: 1.40m) for all the guests. To make your outdoor life to the full there is a table and chairs, sun-umbrella, “gazebo”, deckchairs and a barbeque made of stones, playground and paddling pool at your disposal.

In front of the house there is a separate outdoor area equipped with table and chairs and barbeque. Gelso is also convenient for handicapped persons.
