The group were encouraged to begin the session with a warm up exercise using scented maker pens to draw freehand onto paper. The scented pens gave a multi sensory angle to the subsequent markmaking. To the resultant artworks, watercolour was added, in an attempt to mix the different techniques. Waterbased poster paint was also used to create a third medium, to which water was added and subsequent prints taken. The multiple prints were compared and contrasted.
