'Fun through Paint!'

Session five injected the notion of random mark making, spontaneity and chance into the project. Each participant chose a palette of six colours, and positioned themselves around a large 'canvas' measuring 4 x 3 m. A turn-taking exercise ensued whereby each participant painted onto a large rubber ball and rolled it to another, transferring the paint onto the 'canvas' in the process. Multiple layers of paint were added for the duration of the session. The completed work will remain in situ on the floor in the studio until next week for others to view.
