BENINI
From his studio in the Texas Hill Country, Italian contemporary artist Benini creates paintings – brilliant colors and dancing illusions of dimensionality. Using acrylics, he blends many layers by brush, creating pieces that appear three-dimensional, executed on canvas stretched over flat aluminum shaped to the contour of the composition. In his three-dimensional pieces, small to grand scale, he assembles wood, stone, marble and other materials.
