Rob is mainly interested in the broad, formal aspects of the two dimensional world. In a recent interview with an art editor in NYC, discussing the myth of "junkie-art", Rob stated," Yes, in a sense you could say art can be like a drug...however, I would suggest that it usually acts more like synthroid, which is taken for a thyroid condition, rather than say, cocaine, which gives a short escapist blast of euphoria... it acts as a stabilizer." Rob's paintings,drawings, digital art, and sculptural works are held in collections in United States and Canada.He looking forward to visiting Europe for the first time in 2002.
