27 July 01 was an incredible evening when we all had the honour of hearing Steven Katt, a violinist from Stockholm, performing exquisitely. As well as playing solo violin pieces, Steven expressed his own emotions through his violin by improvising in front of each painting and photograph. This was the first time he had ever done such a thing and all present were mesmerised. He was very pleased with the outcome and wishes to repeat the experience in other Arteutile events.

We're delighted to welcome back Steven Katt, the accomplished Swedish violinist, who will be staying for 2 weeks on arts residence in Trapani (13 - 26 June 2002). Steven was in Trapani in July 2001and we had the immense pleasure of hearing him perform. Even though Steven is in Trapani to relax, he is also keen to reignite the warm relationship he had with the local people by performing once again.
