I live in San Francisco with a supportive husband and two wonderful cats. San Francisco is the best of two worlds, a city and less than fifteen minutes away, ocean and parkland. I love the elements of our natural world (leaves, rocks, subtle clay colors, beeswax) as well as having a fascination with surface textures. Lately, I have been creating irregular shaped panels that contrast metal with textured clay. I call these pieces "Monoliths." It is my hope that they will be anchors of simplicity and reminders of calm in a world of nervous activity.
