When I paint, I search for that place within me where I feel totally over taken with the painting process. That place where the paint flows off the brush as if the canvas, paint, and brush have a mind of their own and the best thing I can do is just get out of the way and let the energy flow. I paint with no preconceived ideas as to what the final image will become. I sit before the canvas and watch the painting come to life.
