Tony Macioce


Born in Alvito, a small town some 90 miles southeast of Rome. At the age of 12, he immigrated to the United States. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana. Held key positions in the advertising field, including VP - Associate Creative Director, for over 30 years. Also spent 3 years in the advertising field in Rome, Italy. Employs a variety of painting styles. His most unique style is best characterized as "Abstract Impressionism" where reality is not immediately evident but has to be discovered. Whatever his style, his art reflects the spirit, the passion and the colors of his origins and life in Italy. His fine art is currently represented by galleries in the Metro Detroit area. Many of his works are in private collections.
