Dualism in the art, or representation of the being other

The dualism, that is the contrast between two principles, is one natural condition of the human being: that which the man shows of himself is the mask behind which he hides his the most authentic being. Here, we'll call being other the essential part of every man, the part that is usually said soul or unconscious. So, the being other is not visible (because invisible is the soul) but it's perceptible through the instinct. Is instinctively, in fact, that often the man gives opinions, rule judgements and establishes behaviours; that is: he organizes the own life.
