During the last five years, I have been making drawings and prints of the Pieta` and Deposition. I selected some of the art historical images I have collected and then re-created them using a male model positioned and held in the poses of the Pieta` and Deposition. Many photographs were then taken. The subsequent drawings were based on the positions of the body in the photographs.
