Leeds is a Great Place to Study.
Leeds was recently voted the 'UK's favourite city'(2004), 'Best University destination' (2004) and the 'UK's favourite city for business' (2005). It is the capital of the beautiful county of Yorkshire. It is home to 1 million people, two universities and an international airport. Leeds has a vibrant city centre with a mixture of tradition, modern cafe culture and great shopping. Leeds is one hour from Manchester and two hours to London by train. There are so many things to do in Leeds. Visiting museums, shopping, going to cafes or visiting the beautiful parks. Students also can play sports in the recreational areas or join one of the many fitness centres.

We think it is important for you to enjoy yourself when not studying. Every month we have an activities programme. You will be able to visit places and see things in England. Perhaps you will make your own adventures after being in England for a short while.
We organise trips to places of interest in England. For example, we recently went on a weekend trip to London and a day visit to the historical village of Haworth. You will learn about some of these places in class before you visit.
Your teachers are always happy to go on the trips and answer your questions.
Students always enjoy the trips and you will have the opportunity to practise your English and make new friends.
Alton towers amusement park is another favourite. You can ride the roller-coasters or take a walk through the beautiful park.

Leeds Languages is a private language school based in the centre of Leeds, a vibrant city at the heart of England. Established in July 2002, we have delivered English language courses & other language courses to more than 1500 students from over 45 different countries.
Course in all major languages
The school offers year-round courses in all major languages - including French, Spanish, Italian, German, Arabic, Chinese Mandarin & Japanese - for groups or individuals.

English Courses
We also offer general English, specialising in IELTS examination preparation. Our courses are designed to enable students to gain the IELTS grade required to enter the UK university or sixth-form college of their choice, and for professionals in medical and other sectors. We also provide a range of English Plus courses, including English with Football, English for Nurses, and summer courses.

Business Courses
For businesses, we offer accessible, cost-effective training in all major world languages. Our city centre location (LS3) includes wireless internet access. Our teachers are all native speakers. Visiting professionals from overseas may benefit from our work placements, secondments and shadowing programmes.

We have a full range of study facilities in our fully-refurbished school. There is free broadband internet access available in our computer suite and throughout the school. Classrooms are spacious and modern. We also provide a student common room and kitchen, offering complimentary tea and coffee.

Evenings and weekends in Leeds are lively, with a wide range of bars, restaurants, museums, cinemas and shops. Leeds is about an hour away from Manchester and just over 2 hours by train from both London and Edinburgh. Both Leeds and our school therefore provide an excellent base from which to explore the UK.
