Individual
Intensive Course
Duration
1 Week, 30 hours per week
Participants
This is our standard individual course and is aimed at any
participant who wants to work on their language and communication
skills on a one-to-one basis.
Programme
The working day is from 09.00 - 17.00 Monday to Friday.
A typical programme looks like this:
09.00 - 10.30 Language review - recycling
language feedback and practice
10.45 - 12.15 Job-related language and communication skills:
key vocabulary and skill practice
Lunch at a pub with trainer
13.45 - 14.45 Language follow-up: self-access
using audio, video & multimedia
14.45 - 15.15 Feedback & correction of self-access work
15.30 - 17.00 General Communication skills: socialising,
fluency work
Evening programme
Two events will be arranged, chosen from:
theatre performance
tour of traditional brewery
concert of classical music
dinner in a country restaurant
Dinner with host family
One-Week Combination Course
(Intermediate: level 4 and above )
Participants
This course is aimed at managers working in an international
business environment who
need to improve their language and communication skills
in English. Minimum entry level
is pre-intermediate (level 4 on YA scale). Any client in
doubt should arrange a pre-course
telephone interview to help assess present level.
