The nearest airport is Aereoporto Vincenzo Florio di Trapani/Birgi (about 20 km. from Trapani) offers direct flights from Rome and Milano and low-cost connections with Ryanair from Dublin, Barcelona and Pisa airports. From Trapani port there is a regulary service to the egadi islands with high-speed jetfoil in 20 minutes to Favignana and Levanzo and about one hour to Marettimo, or by car-ferry in an hour to Favignana and Levanzo and 3 hours to Marettimo. Palermo Airport - Falcone Borsellino (PMO) offers direct flights from all major Italian airports, and low-cost connections with European cities such as Amsterdam, Barcelona, Köln, London, Paris and others. From Palermo airport there is a direct bus service directly to Trapani port ( only one per day in low season and 2 in high season ) please visit: bus in Sicily - From Palermo airport there a bus and a shuttle train "Trinacria Express" that leaves about every half hour to Palermo central. From Palermo central to Trapani you can take a train or a bus ( about one every hour, time table at: bus in Sicily.
